Considering the size of our team I think we do remarkably well, if the 'small' team challenge was indeed small we'd be heading off into the distance with a dust cloud behind us

Thank you Paul_D. I'm very happy to make a contribution to the team and to the scientists looking for cures. Researchers don't need huge mainframe machines as much anymore, only the help of millions of ordinary CPUs out there in people's homes and businesses.

Switched the seven servers to HST to get my 20 year diamond. This causes a massive credit drop.

For comparison: All ressources on zika is ~80k credit, fah2 ~50k and hst ~32k per day Eric, are you getting a full queue of HST WUs? I have not gotten many and my badge has stuck at 133 days for several weeks now.  I am getting tons of Zika and OET though. |

Perelandra, yes I have enough HST workunits on my servers.
----------------------------------------I do support only one project at the time. For me the following trick worked: My setting is that each finished workunit will be sent back immediately (it's a parameter in the cc_config.xml). Before I've switched to HST I had enough ZIKA/OET workunits (short running) on the servers. Because of 12 threads in parallel you get a server request to WCG every couple minutes. Then I've switched to HST and increased the cache settings. Except for resends you have a first in first out queue. This means as long as there are ZIKA/OET running on the servers the queue fills up with HST workunits. |
