Well they finally fixed my problem so i get forum notifications now. and as i promised them i would start crunching again.

----------------------------------------I'm not sure if I can really help in building a crunching machine. The six i7 980x are rented on a monthly basis. The only powerfull computer I own is the i7 3930k built for another purpose than crunching. The two amd are kind of low power but energy efficient. From the point per watt the odroids are unbeatable but only usable on oet at the moment. |

Using both is a good idea for a 'weekly' look at everyone's milestones, I think. Let me know if you agree. Also, the MS Excel chart below which is then converted to a gif using Irfan view, I am not sure if using a simple link to Fre0DC stats would be better, thereby having less clutter in our thread. Any suggestions? I hope so. I want to ake sure that I am doing what is needed. BTW, the Uncovering Genome Mysteries work units seem to be awarding credit that is far different that the others; oh well. I'll try to follow that format. Basically, I think that although milestones are exceeded everyday, the congratulations mean more to an individual when it is not posted every day. Also, this does not take too much time in the morning as well. The Free-DC Stats appear as if that possible server/database errors (minor and that will get fixed quickly, I think). Basically, I think that although milestones are exceeded everyday, the congratulations mean more to an individual when it is not posted every day. Good point. I take my personal stats as an example. With the current hardware every ~3 days I complete one year of computing. It sounds hughe and probably is for some of my co-captains, but is it worth to mention in the milestones you list? Probably every decade or 25 years might be a more individual milestone in my case. Similar with points and results returned. But all in all it's very individual. For someone who has 4 cores running, completing one year of computing means ~90 days 24/7 and it is a big milestone to achieve this year. So it's hard to decide what is the right frequency to mention those milestones. Speaking for myself and my stats: My next big milestones will be 100 years of runtime, 100,000,000 wcg points and 250,000 results returnded.
