Going to be flat out last for the week im on vacation, something took out my network the first day i was away. Figures. Nothing is responding to remote restarts or the like. One of the many really nice things about our Team is that we all know the 'stuff happens' and we crunch when we can. No stress on this 'lil great Team! Just have a great vacation! Robin McLaurin Williams
----------------------------------------July 21, 1951 - August 11, 2014 - Consummartum est. Requiescat In Pace I saw a video clip of Robin Williams when he performing at an 'improv comedy show'; a member of the audience tossed a towel on stage for Robin to try an improv with just that item and no, this was not rehearsed. He 'played' a chef, performed many sketches where, for example, he used the towel as if he was a car in a car wash, moving the towel above his head as if it were 'cleaning'. Too funny and stunningly too quick to really make sense of it all in a post like this. He was simply a comedic genius and yes, as many others have said: "We will never see his kind again". He was that funny and also spectacular in so many movies as well. Finally, I am more than caught up with individual stats and that is a good thing as I have many things to do in just minutes from now. As a Team, we were something like 27th in Results Returned. Mind boggling really. The so-called "Opportunities" in the Free-DC stats show that we are *really* doing incredible crunching!! Lastly, a message (at first I accidentally typed 'mess') from: uplinger World Community Grid Tech Just before midnight stats were run the BOINC transitioner encountered an error. This will affect users from seeing results validating after they have been returned. I am working on a solution at the moment to fix the transitioner but there is no ETA on when this will be completed. I will try to keep everyone informed here. Thank you for your patience and participation, -Uplinger I forgot to mention, but if you want to, increase your buffer for WCG to 1 day. There is a chance I will need to take the BOINC database down. Needless to say, the " BOINC transitioner encountered an error" pretty much stopped the stats from being anywhere substantial to even post/report. The goods news is that (obviously) the next updated stats will be pretty much doubled. Hopefully, this will not happen again. Results have been returning with no problems (well, at first, as you would expect) besides waiting in the queue.
