Can any of the current WCG projects be run on a GFX card?
----------------------------------------My card is not on the restricted list, and I havent ever seen a gpu work unit get downloaded. Wish there was a way to name these android clients in the profile page. I plan to add more, and having more than 2 is going to be infinitely confusing the more I add. |

Can any of the current WCG projects be run on a GFX card? My card is not on the restricted list, and I havent ever seen a gpu work unit get downloaded. Wish there was a way to name these android clients in the profile page. I plan to add more, and having more than 2 is going to be infinitely confusing the more I add. Not yet, however the Help Conquer Cancer project did (ended around May of last year). I hope (like others who purchased recent/new graphics cards to run that project) we get a project (or revision) that will enable GPU work. Needless to say, crunching those work units brought many, many volunteers to the WCG. Who knows, it *could* happen again. [;) I am happy crunching these MCMI work units as I personally think that this has much potential for progress.
