Greetings,Co-Captains (fellow Team Mates)!
----------------------------------------Bok's Free-DC stats is currently down. This is a huge effort on his part keeping nearly all Boinc project stats on a daily basis. There is (for me) no doubt that his Boinc stats website is the best out there. I'm sure that Bok will (as usual) find a remedy. Until then, here is Bok's current comments and our Team stats. Hopefully, all will be normal soon. Server failed again I'm looking,again it's the main drive that takes a beating with a ton of writes, but it really shouldn't have failed this quick. I'm getting very tired of this :( I have a spare drive, but this one was an Intel SSD and only lasted 5 months which is crazy. (Unless it's the mobo) This can't really go on, I think I have 3 options: 1. Reduce the update frequency to around every 4 hours 2. Rewrite the scripts to use mysql master-slave replication which would require extra hardware 3. Give it all up Please no donations whilst I consider all of this. Kinda feel fortunate in one way and wondering about if IBM plans to cut costs in it's services units (they have posted about that on it's own official website; to be fair, it was a huge customer of theirs that is doing some cost cutting. Any major coporations are and have been doing this during these economic times. Yes, due diligence. Here is to hoping all will be good here. Good news (it should be up soon as well as more reliable than usual) from from Bok at Free-DC: *UPDATE* 7.00PM EST 06/03 I've made some good progress with moving things around. Still going to take a day or two to get this all worked out though. I think it will be MUCH better once done. Please no donations whilst I consider all of this.
