Didactylos,
I'm really floundering here with the client install. Partly, there are enough problems that it's difficult to know how to move forward. 1) client will install from commandline using the following: msiexec /i "msifile" /l* "logfile TRANSFORMS "transformfile" 2) But once installed (according to log it has), there is no service named "boinc" which is running in services. If the installer is not doing this, then what are my options? p.s. please note that I only have active directory/Group policy to use; so any solution has to come in the form of .msi and .mst; I can't specify options from the commandline at deployment; I'm just testing the msi/mst before I test with group policy. -Matt |

Can you provide the transform file and the install log?
Your command line has a missing ". Did you just introduce that error in your post? |

-the missing " was unintentional; I just wanted to indicate how I was running the test.
About the .mst; how would I attach it in this case? |
