Hi I was starting one of these fast work unit, and when the work unit gets to 14.2%, it gets yanked back to 13.7%. Is something wrong?
Thanks |

Rings a bell as something we saw like a year ago or longer. Think it was just multiple docking tries within the same segment and the recommendation just to let it run and it will hop past eventually. Each time it does not succeed to dock it retreats and returns the percent for a new bash.
----------------------------------------How many have you seen and what's the behavior of the green versus the red dotted line?

Hi I'm sorry I cannot answer your question about dotted lines, I am blind I can't see the picture.
all my work units are doing this now. Eventually it does go through. |

I think it is a chart of the calculated docking energies. The graphics containing the dotted lines are too small to really look at but the more negative the calculated docking energies the better fit.

Hello whocrazy,
When an attempt fails, the program goes back to the start of the attempt and tries folding in a different direction until it finds a legitimate way to fold. This can cause the percentage complete figure to drop. It does not matter since the percentage is just a guess anyway. The algorithm is not deterministic. Lawrence |
