Yes, and there is. But when the wind blows lightly like on hot days, it makes the vent so inefficient that the other side must bare the fill brunt. Some thing it doesn’t like much, as my meat thermometer was need to measure the exit air temp. When this happens, the airflow problem leads to the roof heating so high, the heat of the roof itself starts to radiate through the ceiling and heats you no matter how well the interior is vented.

Actually, the reason why I'm saying this though, is to explain my lack of 20k days since the move. Something that I have noticed in other due the housing shuffles.

Gen.Patton wrote me he is coming back, but has no way to connect to the Internet where he lives now. I think he can get wifi, but has to use a remote public computer to do email currently. So he send his regards.

sounds like a middle roof vent with a wind turbine on top is the answer...just about any wind will turn it and it sucks the hot air up & out.

Oh yes, it was my first proposal, but they want no one on the roof. Its like they worry that as soon as anyone touches it, they will need to repair that as well. The reason is in the past, this dwelling was a drug house, and they worry I am the same.

Do you want to know why they turned down my request to put venting holes in the server room? They read the doc and send it back with no response. I corner an employee that is inside their group. She says, "There was no way to put 2 - 2ft holes in a 4x4 room w/o violating the structure." The doc specifies 2 - 2in holes. My verbal response, "Stop taking so many drugs."

I am pleased to announce that my landlord's employees now have reduced their consumption of whatever there was in thier collective pipe. They have actually approved my oulandish request.

This is good though, as I also found out why I got this place so cheap. The roof vents I spoke of are not the exit vents. They are just overloaded enterance vents. The real exit vents are clogged shut.

The reason why it is good, is the value is low because its like an oven not a flat. Now its much better, but the prices is locked in by the lease.

Now its my turn to win. biggrin

shock Concidering its getting allot better....

Want more of the story? The people that own these building are not the management agents. This means thy has no clue to who is was and assumed the requests were coming from the last tenant.

They must have thought I landed yesterday when they all saw me at once. When they came to, I reminded the silly earthling's I didn't land yesterday, it was clearly last week.

Meowpao, I asked them how could a crack infested person of any gender could come up with nice engineering drawings, requesting the needed rework. Let alone to diagnose the problem correctly.

I wonder when will they figure out how must it would have cost them if i hadn't pushed the concept. And also how much I saved them in finding out they would have spent the wrong money the wrong way. As I found out in the meeting, they wanted to insulate the whole roof in an attempt to prevent a discrimination charge against them.

When they come to again, I will remind the now highly reactive earthings, I took care of it.

Oh, did I mention the stove flashes my router firmware. The thing is not grounded. How priceless. Looks like I need to talk to the highly over reactive intellectualy challenge earthlings again. I know that I can fix the problem without even thinking. In fact I will have it fixed so they can come fix it. Otherwise I would have to wait for weeks to get them to understand why this is a problem.

I'm more than willing to bet that it will take them over a month for these mondainly driven highly over reactive intellectually challenged earthlings to communicate that a wire is missing within themselves.

Next time they think I landed yesterday, I'm just going to tell them I landed tomorrow. It should be fun to watch their heads explode.

No, the earthlings have stalled. I did clean the vents and this improved things, but the radient heat is still a problem. I may have a way to keep the machines cool enough though. Just need some time now to unpack more. It looks like this week.

I did get parts for the q6700 system I'm building. A 500gig disk and a copy of vista dsp 64bit.

Woot!
