Wikipedia say that "Internet addiction disorder (IAD) ... is excessive computer use that interferes with daily life." I find it more interefering with my daily life when I cannot access the internet I totaly agree. Not only I, but my avatars at Facebook and IMVU agree as well. Many here play Pirates at Facebook. I like the game, but hang a bunch, so I am waiting to find out why. In the mean time, I play MafiaWars, Farmtown, Farmville, StreetRacer, RestaurantCity and CafeWorld. I dont play Yoville as I have IMVU, which is far superior.

One of my roommates is addicted to online games, including CafeWorld. She's a leader of a top-of-the-server raiding guild in World of Warcraft, and she takes some of that competitiveness to facebook games.
I joke that she's in a hardcore CafeWorld raiding guild. |
