I only have 3 machines up right now, but soon will be an normal capacity. We have retired some machines and shut most down after work to save on the electric bill, but I found enough more to add to make up the lost hours. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I cant bring up any more system until I can switch the DSL around. To do this, I need a cable that is in the mail. It may be a few more days, but then I should be back pushing 20k per day. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I need to move the dsl into the back with all the servers, to keep the noise down in the front room where the home theater is. I like the sound of cpu fans as you know. It sounds like victory, so I'm putting them in my room. The problem is that the switch for the workstations is a 60' run. Until i get that cable, I cant hookup the servers yet. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

LOL Making the cable ist really the problem, i have the kit. But it must be white and all i have is blue. Its exposed on a white wall most of the way and must make the manager as well as Jo, otherwise I will never hear the end of it. As it is, it was like pulling teeth just to let me do this at all. Should I kill the delivery guy because I completely loose it waiting, it has been a pleasure serving with you..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Should I kill the delivery guy because I completely loose it waiting, it has been a pleasure serving with you..... ![]() I think skinning him alive will suffice, One square inch at a time, in a checkerboard pattern... If he oozes too much, just cauterize with a Bic... no need for murder...LOL ----------- We usually pull at least three cables to every office (or 3 to a box if a multiple user office). Blue and Red for the computers and white for the VOIP phone with POIP. For ease of service/troubleshooting, we use blue cable/blue plug and connect to blue marked switch in rack, red cable/plug to red switch. The white CAT5 supplies the power for the phones (so no power adapter is needed). If I use the blue or red plugs for phones, I have to put an 'out of bounds' cable to the (white) phone switch which is in a different section of the rack. If necessary, most of the phones have a 10/100 port to daisy chain a computer or network printer. ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by cargod01 at Apr 14, 2009 7:28:19 AM] |

I have everthing ready, I even have holes drilled in the walls and the systems in place. Now that I just have to sit here and wait, as the delivery problem has been addressed. Now I just need to wait 37hr 12min 18sec. I just need to sit here, keep calm and stay focused on the goal. Keep my breathing in control and remember to eat and drink. I should be fine, just fine, honnest, just fine, very ah fine.......... Just 37hr 8min 37sec to go. I'll be fine, just fine.............
