error installing on Mandriva 2008
when i try to install the package the system returns the following message:

tar: Saltando a la siguiente cabecera
tar: Un bloque de ceros aislado en 3951

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
tar: Salida con error demorada desde errores anteriores

I believe you had a bad download. Clean out the files and try again. Pay attention to the file sizes vs your downloaded file sizes. Best to check the MD5 checksum if you know how.
