Horrible news out of my town today. The Lane Bryant store that was robbed today with 5 killings is only just over a mile from my apartment. Cannot believe the violence in society any more. Hoping they get the guy and soon! That's not good.  I've had some bad things happen around here too..On a happier note.. I reach 1 million MOT points tomorrow. Well, yes, it has been quiet today. It would appear that either some machines got shut down today for the big game or, as is likely the case, we had a massive influx into the PV jail.
----------------------------------------Special congratulations to Arthur256 on reaching the halfway point to becoming a MOT Millionaire! They've been a common sight in our daily Top Ten for a while now. Thanks for stepping it up! We have one final week now on our team challenge with the Edwardians who've clearly done a fine job of it so far. This challenge is a good example of it ain't being over til it's over. Folks thought Nite Owl taking some vacation would change the outcome but it didn't. It would be interesting to see how things would stand if this challenge had been handicapped. Still, I think things wouldn't change from that. Both teams have stepped it up compared to their normal pace I would say. WCG is the real winner. Let's see how this final week goes. Tonight, we start a new challenge with the Christians. This one is handicapped. We are averaging about 40,000 fewer points per day that them and the handicapping will take that into account. For me, it will be interesting to see what more will be involved tracking the challenge since we won't be able to go by the raw scores reported by WCG, at least in comparasion to my current expectations. I think handicapping challenges will allow us to broaden our field of possible teams to challenge and give us even more opportunities to get to know our fellow crunchers our there. I welcome your feedback on the team challenges as well. |

This machine i worked on all day Sunday and finally had to reformat so we lost two days on this computer plus what was on it Hope everyone had a great weekend--Keith we got about six inches of rain last week |
