Re: Re:

Evening all

Despite the forecast, it's been a pleasant day today and, for me, a very pleasant one.
Met daughter No 1 in Covent Garden and we had a very pleasant few hours, in a wine bar, then walking and then lunch in a place we hadn't discovered previously.
She goes off to New York on Saturday and I, just might, get in the garden here to do some more sorting out.
Fortunately, she is going Virgin so will not be losing her baggage in T5.

I thought T5 was virgin...............

Whew, a musician AND a stand up comedian.
A jack (or John in this case) of many trades.

The last time I was at Heathrow, I think there were only two terminals. I say "I think" 'cause it was many moons ago. Now there's five?

Not too much longer and Heathrow and Gatwick will be all one airport.

I think T5 is BA only but they're delaying shifting from T4 due to all the problems with T5. I think the press story I saw on the lost baggage woes had about 20,000 bags yet to find their way to their owner. BA was actually taking them off-site, sorting them out and then even taking them to other airports to get them on their way. Major fiasco on that side of the pond.

That's right Keith, T5 is BA only.
They're taking the lost baggage to Milan in Italy to sort it out !!!!!! rolling eyes
