Re: Re:

"WEATHER"
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and ***** and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
With a record of unreason seldom paralled on earth.
While I looked he reared him solemnly, that incandescent youth,
From the coals that he'd preferred to the advantages of truth.
He cast his eyes about him and above him; then he wrote
On a slab of thin asbestos what I venture here to quote--
For I read it in the rose-light of the everlasting glow:
"Cloudy; variable winds, with local showers; cooler; snow."

edited for inappropriated language...cih

To cih and any readers of this post;

I would never wish to offend but the English language is rich and varied and many words in our literature as written by our greatest writers, Shakespear,Keats, Byron etc' and even 'The Bible' (am I allowed to use that as an example?) contain words that if the mind should misconstrue would offend, should we censor this wonderful colourful language?, I fear the day we do.

Been running around a bit today so this is just a late greeting to sign in and not be subject to jankers.
