Not midsummer weather here, had to put my cardie on.

I'll be cheering with you Baron. All Guardian readers decided that, in the absence of England support would be transferred to Holland.

Hi all. Am Back.
Wedding went extremely well, (don't they all?)
A long journey, for an old un though, and got back very tired!
Portsmouth aint a bit like I remember it, but did manage to get a peek inside the gates of HMS St Vincent at Gosport, ( Now a college) a boys training school I went to as a young sailor a mere 54 years ago!

I'll have half a Guinness biggrin Rum watered down was never too my liking but then we Army chaps were made of sterner stuff devilish pleased all went well, It's about time certain nephews started to settle down wink

We caught all of a sudden a thundering hailstorm, our street overflooded within no time, never seen before. Also some damage to cars I think.
