flag What to drink with Stilton flag

So, I was completely wrong!
Sorry about that, Comrade Terry, but sunfolk is the expert tongue
I always thought port was the drink of choice for Stilton
- now I'll have to make new demands on my wine/spirit dealer
- I gave him ticks the other day asking for Braggot - his answer? not talking
Lancaster? Red Rose Lancaster?
Amish? Oh, Lancaster, Pennsylvania
- I was in Erie, Pennsylvania this morning;
I wasn't aware Pennsylvania had a coast line on Lake Erie blushing

Re: flag Welcome Aboard flag

Oh, yes, Little Mermaid. I love cheese. Oh, what a friend we have in cheeses!

Returning from Vermont (a source of excellent cheese) last summer, I had quite a bit of cheese in my carry-on bag. To make a long story short, TSA gave my cheese a very careful examination. Apparently, when viewed on the X-Ray machine (or, whatever it is that your bags go through), cheese looks just like plastic explosives. It took a while, but I was able to board the plane with all of my precious cheese.

Stilton and Port works very well. I wonder what Stilton and Amontillado Sherry would be like.

The Danes came to New Brunswick after a major crop failure right after the U.S. 'Civil War' - if memory serves, circa 1870. When I was much younger, I know that many of them still spoke Danish as their first language. I don't know what it's like now - that was nearly fifty years ago.

There are some pretty good hills in that part of the world, and the ski jumps were made in the side of large hills.

I remember when we first went there. There were two jumps - one was (I think) 120 meters, and the other was about 50 meters. I asked, "Where's the smaller jump?" and was told, "That is the smaller jump!" Gulp....

He (Erik Sorensen) was a nice man. I liked him.

Milk Stout works, Sunfolk. I'm sitting here enjoying my

Re: flag Welcome Aboard flag

Oh, that was bad for those Danes - leaving their new home for an even newer one ...
Are you orginally Canadian, Comrade Terry?
Did you ever try the long jump?

he-he, plastic explosives ... well, yes.
Do you call it cheese tongue or marzipan? tongue tongue
They should have used the sniffer dogs
- they would probably have indicated something was fishy just because they wanted some ...
Do you have beer with that stout?
Can you get the Lancaster Milk Stout at your liquor store?
I wonder if sunfolk would find it acceptable
to douse very old cheese (1-2-3 years) in rum?

Re: flag Welcome Aboard flag

By all means have Rum, have Port but dont forget the humble craft/artisan beer.
I think cheese and wine is overated. cheese and beer better biggrin in my humble opinion smile

Re: flag It Cristsmas in Denmark! We couldn't wait flag

Most times we do have some beer left in our glasses when
we get to the cheese after having worked aalllll the way through the Big Cold Table
- as beer and akvavit in tandem are the traditional companions for that meal
Heavenly bliss tongue

Hola, RoBerTo_ITaPoliS, amigo brasileiro
- bom ver você aqui -
graças para seus cumprimentos e desejos smile

I also love Google Translate wink
Good Morning USMC!
ski1939, your walking the perimeter will have revealed that the Base Camp camp has been
expanded with the tents of yet a cruncher with the funny Campaign Cover - the feathered one
Christopher Herr [TeaM]
AND
WCGland's loveliest, kindest and smartest cruncher
- my Facebook sister: oliviathefirst, Livvy, Elaine rose

What your intelligence has not picked up yet, and has no means of doing, is
that the mermaid is back from her AWOL blushing

UH-oh ... sad
Do you really want me to go into that little room with no windows?
sad - and do double time because I played the "get-up-you-slackers" too early on Christmas Morning
crying - and thrice time for it also being on a Sunday crying
Mercy ... please, Captain hugs I promise, I'll not do it again angel
Pretty Woman
- oh, they played that incessantly at the boat show in Beautiful Worcester, Massachusetts ...
I still have a bit of an issue with that song ... sick 141 times in three days sick

Did Christopher Herr and oliviathefirst not show up on your radar, ski1939?
Well, they must have arrived in their stealth means of transportation ...
Elaine's Porsche convertible surely ducks under any rays
- and Christopher Herr - well, did you take the Lamborghini, Sir?
