Thread: How do I move team members from 1 team to another? THe team name was selected in error (united way name was chosen in error.)??? |

As a new assignment I was asked to implement Boinc on our united way computers. There was an existing team name "United Way of Greater Rochester" that I placed the members under thinking it was Rochester, MN....but is Rochester, NY. I want to move the members to the correct team (United Way of Olmsted County)... and pull the statistics along with the members.

Sign in under each member name, quit the present team, join the correct team.
Note that if you have multiple computers, you really only need one member name. |

Hello Terry Hagen,
That is an understandable mistake. Members can resign from a team and join a new team. Their individual points will stay with them, but the team points earned while they were in "United Way of Greater Rochester" will stay with that team. We have one 'team' which travels from one team to another, adding points from their current production to the other team's total. You have accidentally emulated this team, gifting "United Way of Greater Rochester" with some team points. I hope that you can start the new year with a new team and a smile. Best wishes, Lawrence |
