I installed the BOINC agent and now that I've seen enough GUI I'd like to change. But the change I'd like most to make is the ability to run while I am not logged on to the machine. Can this be achieved in any fashion?

The premiss of password protection is already in place so simply run the same BOINC installer to uninstall and run it a second time and choose the 'service' install option. Ideally choose the Administrator and enter the password twice and BOINC should always run. Do not select the Screensaver and BOINC (read BOINCmgr) to launch at start up. BOINCmgr GUI can be started and exited any time you like without interrupting the service.
