Thank you.
When I read your post, and clicked on the link, I thought that was the one I just updated to. But then I thought "Well, maybe it is a different page." So I downloaded it again. It's the same version I just did -- 7.0.408.000. I googled ZoneAlarm 7.1.078.000 , but I don't recognize any of these sites. Is there a download site listed here that you techies trust? |

...but that still gives version 7.0.408.000.
So where is this 'other' version? |

You can always easily find the latest free one at download.com also. Thanks. The latest version that download.com has is version 7.0.362. Will this version hide the constant activity flickering? |

Maybe another ZL tactic. I ran the 'update' immediately after installing ZA which is when that higher number showed (cut/past from the 'about' box)
----------------------------------------![]() I've subscribed to BetaNews who send notes whenever a new release comes out for the software that I use or just want to stay abreast of. That's how i got the latest ZA to test on Vista.

Nope. I wouldn't trust any of them an inch.

----------------------------------------Nope. I wouldn't trust any of them an inch. Thank you. I never d/l from a new or unknown site without a recommendation or someone vouching for it. Okay, I guess I'll just wait until Zone Labs releases 7.1.078.000 for XP. [edited by debsgr8 to add "for XP"] [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 26, 2007 8:09:49 PM] |

Lawrence, I require a higher standard for security software. If you install malware masquerading as security software, it's Game Over.
