Good Afternoon Base Campers!
Business
Since my most recent post we reached 322:155:21:14:25 years in total
and 259:219:06:15:33 of them are Mapping Cancer Markers.

Accounting
Goodbye -EG- rose and thank you very much for having been part of this crew since November 22.
You have earned the handshake badge

when it will be dealt, I'm not sure.

I assume OldChap is nearing the finish line of his chemo and radiography treatment.
After that he will need about two months of recovering inclusive of learning to swallow properly again.
I for one will stay on with Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network until March at least
because I cannot see any better way to use my spare cycles for the time
being than make them count for OldChap and Sawyer's Dad.
How Sawyer's Dad is doing, I don't know, but he's in my thoughts as well,
and I wish him all the best from the entire Base Camp Dream Crew.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Thank you for waving the chequered flag, OldChap, and good luck with your recovery good luck

Good Afternoon Base Campers!

Base Camp's OldChap trek is officially over.
Thank you each and everyone for your participation.
The handshake badge has been dealt in The Base Camp Hall of Fame
If you find errors, please report it to the bookkeeper blushing

I'm sure Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network should be pleased if you linger with the team,
and Base Camp sends the best thoughts for OldChap's full recovery to beefeating standard
and for a successful treatment of Sawyer's Dad's cancer
good luck

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Hi OldChap!

We are sending best wishes and prayers to you as you finish your treatment for cancer. Also, thanks to everyone who contributed to the OldChap Trek! We did over 163 years of cancer research!

On our journey to 1,000 years of cancer research by September 2020, I'm grateful for those who can continue to do research for people like OldChap, my Dad, and others facing a cancer diagnosis.

OldChap - I hope you feel better each day.

-Sawyer

P.S. Little Mermaid - We traveled about 963mi (1,550km) from Copenhagen to Norway on our bucket list trip to chase the Northern Lights!

Good Afternoon Base Campers!
coolmandude545 and family on a backdrop of northern lights!
What a treat cool
That was a very good choice and well worth travelling 1,500 kilometers for.
I always wanted to see some myself.
Sometimes they can be seen as far south as in Denmark - maybe even further southwards.
My father, who was a postman, told about those very cold mornings before dawn,
when he experienced aurora borealis, about how magical it looked
so he had to rest with his bicycle and just stand and gaze.
His postal route was a rural one and light pollution was non existent because at that time
in the 1940's we had a mandatory blackout during the German occupation.

Well, the bookkeeper noticed an error in your post nerd
Until now Mapping Cancer Markers is not 163 but at almost 264 years
- more than one quarter of your goal rose

I hope the Base Campers who have worked for you will return now and then
between home team duties, and I'll certainly keep an eye on the development.
The address is: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=8N78G65PC2
- and I'll keep it in my signature.
If new Base Campers join for any period of time,
we shall not be cheap with the two badges of the Sawyer's Dad and OldChap treks
- as I'm happy to notice the ultimate badge hunter roaming behind the scenes wink

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Base Camp recommends that you join Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network
for any time you can spare away from your home team.
Should you be teamless you may want to make Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network
your home team.
You may wish to switch to Mapping Cancer Markers while being with the team,
but all currency is accepted biggrin
Sawyer's goal was originally 100 years of cancer research. That is upgraded to 1,000 years.
Current count:
264:221:06:02:44 Mapping Cancer Markers
328:025:01:27:22 in total

Good Morning Base Campers!
Accounting
Thank you [GPT] CELYR rose for having worked so hard in the Sawyer's Dad and OldChap treks.
Have a safe trip back to Captain ChrisRasmussen.
Should you happen to pass me in Copenhagen Harbor, you will notice
the fresh graffiti on my rocks, but at least they let me keep my head this time ....

IF we're going to reach 1,000 Mapping Cancer Marker years by September 2020,
we will need to man up even as we're proceeding steadily.
Right now we have made
267+ years of Mapping Cancer Markers and
331+ in total Run Time.

Accounting
We are the same reliant crew crunching for Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network in the Twilight Zone hugs
- you could set your course toward that, too, simply by KLiKing the link in my signature smile
