Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Morning Base Campers!
Business
Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network stands at 58:100:00:37:11 peace
Thank you for your promise, VietOZ smile
I'll definitely be here to keep OldChap entertain during his treatments. Hope all goes well and he'll be on his way to a quick recovery. *praying*
The prospects are good, but the road is tough, VietOZ.
It sits in a sensitive areal.
As Base Camp is running two seamlessly connected trek, we'll need
to bring Sawyer to 100 years before we trek in OldChap's name.
Should that, however, turn out to be too difficult, we'll start our OldChap trek earlier.
All work will go to Sawyer regardless.
When will your current race finish, VietOZ?

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

OldChap celebrates his birthday on December 24th.
It will be a different birthday for him this year, because
- he found a lump in his neck.
He noticed it in the third week of October.
The tests in mid November confirmed that it is squamous cell carcinoma.
In the beginning of December OldChap will start treatment.
Let us try to give him all the support we can during some difficult weeks,
by staying in touch donating our spare cycles to Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network in OldChap's honour
- spelt the English way in OldChap's honour rose

The entire CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES team joins me in supporting OldChap in these diffcult times. We wish him a lot of courage and are with him wholeheartedly. Be strong and keep the faith!

Maybe four, five or six because I intend to send some CSF volunteers in addition to Damon and David at the support trek to OldChap.
