Good Afternoon Base Campers!
Business  Cruncher Sphynxx  has joined Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network. Welcome  - which team is your home team?We shall count you as a Base Camper Sphynxx, and you will earn your first badge. As you may have noticed, VietOZ from XtremeCrunchers paid a French visit and promised further reinforcement when the WCG Birthday race is over. Sawyer has cashed in 56+ years now between his own crew, crunchers who joined before OldChap tipped me about this excellent target for a trek, and us Base Campers So, all taken together we have a very handsome crew with more Base Campers to come. I don't think we have been this many trekking together since we had Base Camp's GRAND SNURK CELEBRATION TREK which doesn't mean that we have no more tickets - on the contrary: We always have room, food, beer, and coffee for one more Base Camper   |

Yes, OldChap and I have hatched a plan.
1. We'll work Sawyer up to 100 years 2. We'll make a trek for OldChap  3. The work will go to Sawyer but we have an OldChap badge  4. There is a very good explanation for this 5. And you will get that very soon OldChap, Base Camp shall be happy to invite your friends and team mates from XtremeSystems inside our insulated tents situated in the Twilight Zone  |

Hi LM! I haven't retired (yet) but decided to fire up my main cruncher for the winter. My alternate BC cruncher hasn't done any work since the end of 2017 so I fired it up as well. I like what this young man is doing for his dad so I wanted to chip in what I can.

I'm sure you will like the concept of our next trek as well Good Morning Base Campers! Business Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network stands at 56+ years - 'just' 44 years to go As soon as the 100-year mark is passed, we'll stay where we are - as other duties permit - coming and going is encouraged but switch to a new trek When that 100 year-milestone is reached, I cannot tell, but the sooner the better. OldChap celebrates his birthday on December 24th. It will be a different birthday for him this year, because - he found a lump in his neck. He noticed it in the third week of October. The tests in mid November confirmed that it is squamous cell carcinoma. In the beginning of December OldChap will start treatment. Let us try to give him all the support we can during some difficult weeks, by staying in touch donating our spare cycles to Sawyer's Cancer Fighting Network in OldChap's honour - spelt the English way in OldChap's honour |
