Vous commencez tôt aussi ! On n'avait pas dit que le trek avec l'Alliance Franchophone commençait le 17 ? Je fini à peine mon dernier passage chez SNURK and friends. Petit retour à Kraland, que le co-capitaine soit un peu là. Et lundi, nouveau trek.  You start early too! It had not been said that the trek with the Alliance Franchophone started on the 17th? I hardly finished my last visit at SNURK and friends. Small return to Kraland, that the co-captain is a little there. And Monday, new trek.  music  |

I just heard that song that night on the radio and it reminded me that Eddie and his band used to play at my high school dances. Imagine that, a Van Halen concert for $5. Imagine my surprise when I first heard the group's songs being broadcast. Cheers   |

Let’s decide that BladeD sings better than Eric Clapton,
and that he will sing along when Sade sits down among us around the campfire  Furthermore, we’ll have the Eddy’s Song as I found it, NixChix - do tell me if I'm wrong, please; it seems to happen all the time these days  to sing along with this one - as far as I know the guitarist was the first one to use a 5-track tape to record his music all by himself. These are mini-teams tags. They are not mandatory but many of us have it. Here are some examples: [AF>Quebec] (people who are attached to this region), [AF>HFR] (Hardware.fr) or [AF>EDLS] (Equipe de la Science). Very interesting. Can you have ’national matches’ and such? You yourself, [AF>EDLS]GuL, is in a Science team. Which kind of science do you do? stefada, good to see you again. You said you’re busy. Any particular project? Yes, I’m the advance Base Camper this time. You have to have a scout. Scouting, I notice that a lot of the L'Alliance Francophone team members are anonymous. No name, no production to be seen …  Good Morning Base Campers! Business Well, I better send out an invitation for crunchers to participate in our L'Alliance Francophone trek … We need a sizeable crew to make a spike with them  TLD, I heard from the Finnish Captain of a team called My efforts against childhood cancer We made a trek to his team late in the year 2011, I believe. I have looked for the badge we had, but cannot see which one it could be. Could you perhaps refresh my memory, please? After a break he’s returning to WCG crunching and intends to try to revive his team and heat his bedroom at the same time   Chit-chat The first thing my ex and I bought when we first met was a Flying Pendulum Ignatz Holovar Clock.  Who can live without it?  Now it’s mine. The first thing I bought on the internet was five replacement ball and cord sets. Today - in spite of my lousy motoric skills - I fitted #2. I suppose I have enough left for my lifetime. Imagine: That shipment came to me in Denmark all the way from not Lancaster, Ohio, but Scottsdale, Arizona!  I think it was back in 1997 … I love its click-clack sound and I love the idea that you can try to make it go on time It cannot be done, but it is fun to try   |

Very interesting. Can you have ’national matches’ and such? You yourself, [AF>EDLS]GuL, is in a Science team. Which kind of science do you do? Yes, we have 2 raids per year on a project. Last one was on WCG. But we can also participate to Pentathlon or Formula Boinc. During these raids, we try to increase our computing power, by starting new (or very old) computers. At the end, we have a badge, whose colour depends on our rank. We not only crunch for ourself, but also to place our mini-team on podium. Be a member of "Equipe de la Science" only means that we like science. For me, computing with Boinc is a good way to help science. LM, My guess is there was no badge for that one. There were a few treks where no badge was created.

On the other hand you were not a badge hunting Base Camper at the time How is the snow situation in NC? Thank you, Ted, for reminding me  I remember this song relating to our Finnish trek  |
