Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

I have put all my new decals on Escher-1 and wiped the bugs off the old decals.

It's beautiful!

I have given The International Team a little over 1 year of CPU time. I can't decide between heading straight over to L'Alliance Francophone for an early start, or to landing Escher-1 back down at XtremeSystems HQ for a few days to wrap up a full year there first. What are Puppy and I to do???

Cheers coffee

I think you should make a headstart in the best Base Camp tradition and report back how we could impact a team as big as this, NixChix, but only after you have filled in your nagging void at XtremeSystems smile
Then stuff that Escher-1 with advocadoes and dog treats, fill her up, and take off to ....
where? confused
Where does the captain live?
I have rigged my boat and through any waterways and over any oceans
I'll follow as soon as I have a course
cool

I may see light green leaves on some trees smile

The best place I found for this is Cévennes, in south of the Massif Central. In April, it is just incredible, you have an astonishing range of green colors.

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

[AF>EDLS]GuL, often it's so that you do more sightseeing when away from home.
Say, do you take those beautiful pictures yourself?
I have a list where I jot down what I learn about places to visit by country
- I imagine I'll live a healthy life for a couple of centuries
and Crozon is on that list now along with stefada's Quimper.
[AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005, I'm very fond of modern architecture,
so we may bump into each other at La Défense.
Do you commute by train between home and work?
Talking about falling leaves I should like to show you how pretty fall was in Denmark AD 2018
- never saw it so beautiful before.
The place was created by Antoine de Bosc de la Calmette
as a gift of love to his wife called Lisa.
You could call it Denmark's answer to the Taj Mahal tongue

Good Morning Base Campers!
Business
Did you know that L'Alliance Francophone
has:
- 4,460 current members?
- and that only 265 retired through the years?
- and that they are getting new members all the time?
Yesterday their runtime graph looked like this:

- this is the one I showed for The International Team 3.0 trek:

We have Base Campers who are number crunchers. What do you say?
Chit-chat
Yesterday I had a blood pressure guage fitted for measuring a 24 hours series.
It hurts and I didn't sleep well at all. I'm just about feeling quite grumpy crying
Just two hours, and it will come off biggrin

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

@BladeD, thanks !
@little mermaid,
Yes these photos are mines.
Crozon and Quimper are very close from each other (about 1 hour by car). This summer, our camp was based at Crozon and we went once at Quimper for a photo rally inside the town. That was quite funny: we had a list of building details in photos and we had to find them in the streets.

Your place seems very pleasant. I like this photo.

I don't know for JeromeC, but I need to commute by train every day (RER: Réseau Express Régional). Hopefully, I don't need to cross all Paris, but it takes 1h to go at work, and sometimes up to almost 3h when it is not working. And you ?

Concerning your trek, 20k per day are not negligible at all. It is about half of our production, even if we are 4460 members. Many thanks !

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Nice to know Quimper and Corzon are so close to each other.
Yes, commutes can be a drain on your spare time.
As for me - I don't need transportation I'm a little old retired woman smile

OK, you think a Base Camp trek could show on your graphs?
I hope so. We'll invite as many as possible cool

If 'someone' is me in this case, BladeD,
I thought I ought
to be there to light the lights for Escher-1 smile
Any headstarters are welcome to pitch their tents at

L'Alliance Francophone
