Well, it has been a blast...... but off back to my home team now It's been a blast for all of us Nice meeting you folks and well done on the Snurk trek OC not least for me personally - just look at my present badge collection, OldChap And to repeat BladeD: Nice having you! And come back anytime! - yes, please do ![]() Good Morning Base Campers! Business SNURK and friends is over. It has been - with OldChap's words: A blast! Good clean fun! And what a result! #4 in the prestigeous 2018 THOR Challenge thanks to SNURK and friends' existing members, the new members the team picked up during this almost two-month-long trek but not least to the existing and new Base Campers As soon as possible I'll deal the three-fold badges for this Round 3 to you in the Base Camp Hall of Fame. We all produce differently, but we'll all get the three-fold badge in the SNURK spirit ![]() I'll run over to XtremeSystems for a bit of R&R. I think I owe them something - OldChap, VietOZ and PecosRiverM ![]() Crystal Pellet of SNURK and friends will have a badge as well simply because he was very interested all the time deltavee made me so happy by joining that I feel like giving him the whole SNURK trek series of badges ![]() Chit-chat Went to a lecture this morning. It told about how life isn't over just because you grow old - it's full of possibilities, and you have a life full of experience to make good use of them. ![]() |

![]() We would have all wanted SNURK and friends to pass the TOP 3, but 4th at the THOR challenge, it's already beautiful. How do you fry it? In oil? I think I promised to join Kraland when this THOR challenge was over .... Well, it comes a little later I think I have so many to thank for trekking with Base Camp helping to obtain the very honorful #4 place for SNURK and friends Who would have thought? ![]() |

Little Mermaid,
I do not know how they do it. I have heard that some do it with oil, but others do it with boiling water! All I can tell you is that I do not like cakes too much, I prefer a good steak. But if we go to the market on Saturday morning, there is a lady who makes Zlabia "to bang their ass on the floor" (I do not know if it is translatable, a very French expression) ![]() |

Wow, what a blast we have had for the past month. I will turn off all the androids with bloated batteries... for now.
----------------------------------------Now that this party is breaking up (it was great meeting you all and sharing beer/avocados), I'll have to figure out where to point Escher-1 next. Cheers ![]() ![]() |

Yes, NixChix, what a blast
- never saw anything like it stefada, I think we just have to put those two ingredients into a bowl, mix, fry and see what happens .... ![]() Good Morning Base Campers! Business For the time being Base Camp has a time out so we all can iron our android batteries Our next project will in all probability be a disciplined trip to Sweden to make a The International Team 3.0 trek to make up for our very undisciplined The International Team 2.0 trek. If NAP2614 would like to give a new badge to be dealt together with the 2.0 badge ![]() a thought, it would be great ![]() Chit-chat Today I hope to read some of the book which is our assignment for my Danish Book Club, and tonight will be a live theatre trip with Upstairs Yvonne. We'll enjoy a dinner before the show. I already ate October's menu once - it was good, so I can easily do that again but last year they went to Xtremes and cooked a special, different meal for me, because I come there so often that I'm almost part of the furniture, and they thought they would give me something else isn't that nice?I call it 'The Grandmother Effect' Don't fear age. The young ones are so considerate ![]() ![]() |

Business I'm pleased to announce that nap is working on the badge for The International Team 3.0 trek - and I'm working on the badge ceremony for the Xtended SNURK and friends trek ![]() Chit-chat The theatre show last night was a disappointment I'm not clever enough to see what the playwright Werner Schwab had in mind, and Upstairs Yvonne and I couldn't get out of there fast enough Today I'll play tourist in my own city with a friend .... and dress warmly to fend off a cold wind ![]() |
