Not long ago I used an orange colour for writing here
- I wanted it to match my current badge and used 'orangered' - nap2614 said it was difficult for him to see on his screens and I stopped at once using it only for accents now and then. Now TLD has mentioned he has difficulty reading the red colour. I like to use - mainly the 'crimson' - but also occasionally the 'red'. I like to use other colours for accenting things also. Does anyone else experience those problems with colours? |

My eye doc says a red/white combination is the hardest to see

Your eye doctor says so, but how is it for you and everybody else?
Personally I read blue and red equally easily regardless of the background being white or light gray. The only fact I have other than that is that nap doesn't read the 'orangered' well. ![]() |

Blue stands out for me, red recedes and requires extra effort.

Okay. That's hard facts. I like that. So, I'll more or less stick with the 'darkblue' in general and use the 'crimson' for trim to obtain red-white-and-blue effect - and occasionally use other colors but limit the reds/oranges ![]() |

Good Afternoon Base Campers!
Today deltavee retired from Trek #29 for the second time. Thank you for your generous contributions . I hope TLD will get you two badges. I shall retire from Trek #29 myself and set footprints somewhere before we get trekking fever again. Our Base Camp Forum is fine and functional - altho of a quite different design. Our super techie, pinky, has assessed the damage, and we have whined to her about what we need restored. We trust she will mend the pieces when she gets the time. My arrivederci song to rcc Vaya con Dios |

That's because the thread was deleted as the poll didn't show up and a new thread was created with a poll and a new email sent out.
