Good Morning Base Campers!
A heated discussion about Base Camp values took place at Base Camp Forum (we air our dirty clothes inside and use clothelines for the clean washing) and that's a good thing. All who wants expresses himself/himselves  (Ghostie, I need grammar help again, please) and everything is clearer when the sun sets. Nobody wants to leave Trek #29 *The Survivors* and that's good. Even our two visiting vultures seem to find the fare sufficient - if there is anything else you want, please squeek - Oh, oh, I see. Well, that you have to discuss with RAMMIE, I'm afraid. Thank you everybody for being here! I wish you a nice week-end. Lacking own playlists, other's are not to be looked down upon - would have given you a whole bunch of Strauss, but YouTube pulls my leg this morning, so you have to "make do" with just one waltz Wienerblut - which you are allowed to dance as many times as you wish Remember to shift clockwise/counterclockwise at intervals as to not getting dizzy.  Did I mention we have positions open? Yes, you can be a New Camper. You can start right away by joining *The Survivors* - and if you decide to be their new permanent member, we don't blame you  |

Three of you left our current Trek #29 *The Survivors*  oliviathefirst, Orakk, and Troy Thank you very much for your contributions (must be plural as they each made one; in Danish it would be singular, no matter how many made one). There is one new cruncher with *The Survivors* also: gretchch Welcome to the trek. I know you as a long time cruncher - back from the UD days - with The Christians. I look forward to learning whether you have ventured out on your first Trek as a New Base Camper - or whether you decided to join *The Survivors* as the much searched for first permanent member. I'll scan the Forums for your answer, gretchch. Our Base Camp Forum has some difficulties at the server end these days; hard to call up if at all. Error 500. I have a somewhat longer playlist of Strauss music today, but it's still not the one I wanted. Strauss Music Playlist with many Blue Danube versions for you to waltz the Sunday away.  |

Hard to go wrong with Strauss. Glugging down coffee. [Glug is an onomatopeia LM. Note the duplicating of the ending consonant before adding "ing" to make an active verb.]
High winds here and a low pressure system that may join with a tropical storm. Made for intermittant installation by the techs yesterday, but great service today now that I don't have to worry about tree limbs bouncing off old wiring! Plants were all desperate for rain, so glad to get heavy bands of it. |

Good Morning Base Campers! Our Trek #29 is indeed our most successful ever as I see it and hoped for. You keep crunching for *The Survivors* - exactly the same crew as yesterday, and now - by proxy - this crew is in a double Challenge in Memory of Steve Jobs crunching two cancer projects. It was what's called a difficult delivery - lots of labor - but look at this baby: Twins. gretchch jumped from The Christians to become a permanent member and will get to work on her mom as well and captain RCC_Survivor produced a brand new cruncher himself. Congratulations from all of us in Base Camp. Let's Party in the U.S.A.  |

Good Evening Base Campers!
Parking tickets revisited! Raked in one more today. I'm always late - also for my Italian class today. Was not really aware there was a time limit for parking there. But! Bought myself an electronic parking dial Learnt that the title of our teacher will be la professoressa and that the word "ciao" the equivalent of "hello" has a history. Originally it is "Sciavero" <meaning "I am your slave"> which in the Venetians' warped pronunciation eventually wandered into ciao. widdershins, visiting vulture, has announced he shall fly to milder climates now. Thank you very much for coming and for contributing so generously. *The Survivors* revisited: deltavee has rejoined to participate in the two Steve Jobs Challenges into which Captain RCC_Survivor has entered his team.
