Good morning,
The grid is up and running. Bill at BroadBand Reports gave me this little tip: I think something changed in the BOINC framework. A long time ago, I set my general preferences to *NOT* suspend when using the PC and forgot about it. Yesterday, setting up a new machine, I found it crunching OK unless I was logged into it. Turned out the preferences needed to be reset to compute always at the client using BoincManager. look for lines like this in your logfile 2007-11-20 11:29:10 [---] Suspending computation - user is active 2007-11-20 11:29:10 [---] Suspending network activity - user is active This is what finally made it work. Thanks for all the help and have a Great Thanksgiving! Dan |
