While I was typing a post a few minutes ago, something unusual happened. My Norton AntiVirus 2008 popped up a notification that an intrusion event was blocked. When I clicked on it, it said this:

It is very unfortunate that the NAV incorrectly identified the cause. I'm going to do some additional investigation since the firewall reported port 80 rather then the traceroute port. It is possible that the hosting center has upgraded the Avaya software they use to optimize the network topology and routing. I'll post back with what I find. |
