Naw, that's just for the pre-race activities. Simone can confirm when she awakes.

Ok into lap 105 of 161 as I type this. Couple hrs left of this great race.
----------------------------------------Will Holden conquer the mountain ? 1 ford driver decided he wanted to turn his car into a BBQ NASCAR pffft boring going round & round in circle I heard someplace the Australians had restricted everyone(not sure if it was the fans or the racers) to one slab of beer(24 pack to us Americans) daily for a three day race. Didn't quite hear why. Cheers LOL someone is pulling your chain. Restrictions like that would only cause a riot A slab wouldn't last an hour. Drivers of course cant touch the stuff till after race complete. Zero reading a must. Thought would give the uneducated some homework on the V8's and the Bathurst 1000 Click HERE and HERE [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 11, 2009 4:09:14 AM] |

October is full of big motorsport events & you do get those who do all four & drink their way around the country. Deni Utemuster last wend, then travel to Bathurst for the race, down to Phillip Island for the MotoGP & then up to Qld for Indi (hmmm im not even sure if Indi on @ the end of the month) [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 11, 2009 9:17:39 AM] |

NASCAR pffft boring going round & round in circle Ummmmmmmm............ at 200mph (320kph) with 43 other cars in the circle. Besides we have a road course too. Beats F1 in my opinion where too often money buys the outcome. We host a hill climb event here where I live each year (over 50yrs now) and that one is fun to watch especially when you're a corner worker and an out of control race car is hurtling toward you. ![]() |

Not a big F1 fan myself.
Corner marshal, official or photographer certainly need to keep your wits about you when on track, inner field etc. Motorsport is dangerous full stop. Was friggin dumb founded by a few photographers at the muster other wend, kneeling or sitting during some drifting. Nearly got cleaned up couple of times. |

I've had to deal with the odd photographer that insisted on setting up in extremely high risk crash zones. There's not a lot of time to react when a car doing 100+ mph loses it in a corner. |

Well, Carl moved up a notch but, with only 6 races remaining, his hopes look bleak.
---------------------------------------- It is hard to stop Jimmy right now. Good race today though. Actually I like open-wheel racing too. Who couldn't like Danica Patrick??? ![]() ![]() |

I got a HCMD2 greenie today. I'm going to pull out of here and head back to MW and Yoyo. It was fun.
