Recycling "statistics update"

I'm not a stats junky, but I do want to get into the My Grid portion to change me specific preferences (namely resources).

However, each time I try to log in, I get a count-down message saying that I can't acces due to a stats update.

The first time I waited the hour. Well, almost the hour - there were 6 seconds left. I gave it 10. Clicked "My Grid," and the clock reset to another hour.

Is this a known issue, a result of each seperate project database needing an hour, or some other hash?

Thanks

Re: Recycling "statistics update"

Hello RicketyCat,
Here is Sekerob's latest post in Start Here (dated 14 Oct 2007) discussing the statistics update times: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=2024

I can get into My Grisd right now.

Re: Recycling "statistics update"

This issue is still alive and bothering.

I do not have the faintest idea why the account management functions are tied to the stats. They should be separate, and the account management functions should be available at best all of the time, or at least only if there is a major server update going on, not just some nifty stats thingy.

Woulda shoulda coulda.

It's a legacy of the useless UD software, and we have to live with it for now.
