My question is why hasn't the WCG taken the Rosseta@home calculations?
----------------------------------------the deases runned there are similar to those that are runned on WCG... also, post if you are in favor for taking the Rosseta@home calcs with WCG! |

KLiK, are you running the WCG's Human Proteome Folding, Phase 2 project?. If so, please open up your Taskmanager and you will see a WCG process with part of the name being 'rosetta'.
----------------------------------------Here's is the large scale search and over at R@H is the development of the software. ![]()

so We are running te Alzheimer, cancer & other deseases that are under R@h in F@h-p2 app? As Sekerob said, Rosetta@Home is the development of the Rosetta software, used for determining unknown protein structure from a sequence. HPF2 is using the Rosetta software on a large number of proteins with unknown structures (Malaria, human cancer biomarkers, gram-negative pathogens, and some others). Folding@Home is very different from the other two. It does not attempt to determine unknown protein structure. Rather, it aims to determine how proteins mis-fold. Its research is focused on diseases associated with protein mis-folding (Alzheimers, Parkinson's, Huntington's, and some cancers).
