These short DDDT WU's crunch in around 25 mins on one of my quad-core machines - that equates to around 210-220 units a day.
Unfortunately there seems to be a 199 WU a day download limit in place, is there any chance this can be raised to allow for this? |

The present limit is actually overall 50 units per core, not DDDT specific. In past an email to support was good to get a bigger quota for an individual client .

I said 199 units due to the message saying 'reached daily quota of 199 results' and whilst I appreciate the limit is not DDDT specific, the problem only applies to this project due to the short WU's.

Not yet - usually the Techs pop by these sections and you get a pretty prompt reply - but I'll fire up an email to give them a nudge.

In the meantime, try to connect at least once per day. That's a 50/core/day download limit.
----------------------------------------If you skip a day, that's especially where the problems arise, because you won't get 100 to make up for it. Now, back to the problem of running more than 50/day. Computers are getting faster. Isn't that what we want? ... waiting for the techs ...

Gee - if you all didn't have such powerful machines this wouldn't be a problem...........
 I'm bumping the limit to 75. Let me know if anyone is able to cross that limit as well (please note that if you computer reports less then a 75 limit then you are having a problem with errors so please look at the results status page first: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewBoincResults.do ) We have fixed some of the load issues on the back end (that lead to the shortages of Help Conquer Cancer work last week). As a result we are upping the distribution of Dengue Fever again (if you will notice the cpu time returned for DDDT was pretty low the past few days). |
