Stuck WU's

Every batch I have a couple of stuck wu's for the past few months. It did it in tiger and its doing it in leopard. I have to shut down boinc and restart boinc to unstick it. I am using the latest version of boinc. Is it a mac problem or a mass problem?

Re: Stuck WU's

Hello Bearcat,
My Windows computer has stuck twice on HPF2 work units this year. This is a known bug. So I am guessing that you are running into a Mac problem.

Just a guess on my part.

Re: Stuck WU's

What Science? If HPF2 there is an *All* OS workaround in the Start Here FAQ. Exiting BOINC is not necessary!

As for Leopard, you will have seen that AC@H was stopped and the new HCC was not even launched due to differentials of Leopard with previous OS X versions in the results. Carefully watch that FA@-H and DDD-T do validate. HPF2 would not suffer that problem as it does not use the regular Homogeneous Redundancy distribution and comparison method.

Re: Stuck WU's

It was in DDD. Also, had my first crash in leopard last night. I'll post the log this afternoon.
