Me, God and the and the 20 pence game
----------------------------------------To say the last 18 months have been a tad difficult would be a bit of an understatement. I'm having my Job moment. Me, God and 20 pence started about a year ago when I started a Job in Bonny Scotland. Throughout a very long 6 weeks up there each time I got to the end of my money I would have just 20 pence left and God would come to my rescue. So 20p became very significant. I'm sure I have mentioned it before in this thread. Well a year on I'm still kicking and fighting and the Baliffs still keep trying to take all our furniture away but so far to no avail (Thanks God) and each time we have just enough Today is pay day (hopefully) and we've had another bad week but we have managed to gather together £11 to fill the car with just enough petrol so here I am at work whoohoo - I can't get home until I get paid but will deal with that when it comes to it. So why the post? Well despite my anger my rage and all the great many other faults that go to make up Dave A. I have got back in the car at the Petrol Station thinking "that's no lunch for me until I get paid" and in the pot where I had gathered all the change to pay for the petrol there it is.......... a solitary 20p  I love God and he loves me. When you think you have been deserted by the Big Guy those are just your thoughts he's with you every step of the way. Of that you can be sure Make it a good day Dave  |
