Do You Still Need More Beta Testers?

I recently migrated from UD to BOINC and have satisfied myself that everything is running fine for me. I've considered helping out more by checking the box to become a Beta Tester; but then in other reading, it seems like there are plenty of folks and computers already on board with this. Can someone tell me the current level of need for newbies? Thanks so much.

Re: Do You Still Need More Beta Testers?

Greetings,

Checking the box for beta allows your machine to download beta work units when they are available. We would like a diverse set of machines on beta. This will allow us to make sure the science applications does not fail on one type of processor. We do not run a beta test all the time, so you may get one beta work unit per month. I do not know the exact frequency of beta work units you will receive, but it is minimal and you may not have noticed you received one.
