The current Human Proteome Folding Project fits comfortably into 50 MB on your hard drive. Authorizing the World Community Grid to use more space for future projects gets you more points, but has no other real effect.

The "Processor" score is determined by little benchmarks that run with each work unit. As such it can vary dramatically depending on what else is running on the computer when the benchmark is run. This from HERE
If it continues to stay low even though you are not using the machine when the benchmark is run, then there are several possibilities. If it does not return to your normal reading in the next few units, let us know more and we will try to help.

i still think that 198 is too high for a crappy old duron ocd or not, people with 3ghz p4s and athlon 3000+ are getting about that.

My P4 3.0 HT has a score of 172 ( I expected 190 - 210 ) sad

My 1.5Gb RAM scores 300 ( expected this score ) nerd

My 10Gb Scores 196 ( expected this score ) nerd

My 1Gb Network device scored 100 d oh

Total device score 183. biggrin

Hoped for a better score but Hey it is not a perfect world... devilish
