1.I assume that with 5.10.22 I can run not only my WCG projects, but all of my chosen BOINC projects. If this is incorrect, please correct me.
----------------------------------------I have not seen a good comparison between 5.10.x and 5.8.16. I do find that while 5.8.16, installed for single user on a Vista Core 2 Duo machine, starts on logon and runs two projects without intervention from me, 5.10.20 installed on a Vista Core 2 Duo machine will only start without going to the BOINC manager if I install it via the Service route, and then I only saw one process running. On that machine, when I re-installed 5.8.16, I saw two processes running. So, some of this could stand some explanation in easy to understand language. |

You may be running into the memory limits. BOINC 5.10 won't schedule work unless you have enough free memory available.
I don't understand your comments about BOINC Manager. If you chose the single user option, BOINC will only start when BOINC Manager starts - same in both versions. |
