Hi, i my first post, even i use boinc from some months ago.
I'm unable to start the task, i have downloaded the ca certicate and named: ca-bundle.crt on the boinc dir, but job is stopped allways, i have the last boinc 5.8.15 Errors without date/time: World Community Grid|(not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks) Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site Access to reference site succeeded - project servers may be temporarily down. World Community Grid|Scheduler request failed: peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates I have other projects working wihout any problem, boinc have rights to internet on my firewall. What can i do? Thanks |

A frequent reason for this problem is when the system clock is set to a wrong date/time.

A frequent reason for this problem is when the system clock is set to a wrong date/time. thanks , but i readed all the post about it, and i got the right time, i'm from CEE, i got central European time and the clock is sincronized by the atomic clock. thanks anyway |

Never have paid attention if the atomic clock synchronizing also corrects the 'Date', but it's almost certainly that issue.
----------------------------------------Opposed to other projects, WCG is i believe the only one who uses secure communication for which that certificate and current date matching is required. Added: Suggest to re-download the certificate and place it in the BOINC program directory which for windows is usually C:\Program Files\BOINC. What OS is this? Added: Editing of a post is done by hitting the little pencil left of the post title!

Interestingly I get this problem because of Kasperksy, if I turn it off for a couple of minutes comms are fine.
