just because the security policy,i must know the exactly destination port.
443 maybe is not right.NOW I have open the port 443 and 80,it doesn't work also. and i am sure this is just a network problem. |

WCG uses https/ssl for secure comms so guessed the IPs need defining as: for http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ to 129.33.89.133 port 80 for https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ to 129.33.89.134 port 443 Explicitly added "Distant" ports 80+443 in the firewall restrictions for BOINC with those IP addresses and it happily communicated to WCG, sent result and fetched new task, so something must be right and can't think of setting that part even tighter. Yes, those are correct.
Perhaps you can explain the problem in more detail. Are you running the BOINC agent? Do you have permission to run BOINC at work? |
