Hi, first of all excuse me for my english, but i'm from Spain, and this is the best I can write.
----------------------------------------Maybe my question is answered somewhere else on the forum, but I haven't been able to find it I'm using boinc on work's computer, and I'm planning on use it also on home's computer, but my question is, If I use boinc on two different independent computers (not in the same network), with the same user, will boinc "notice this" and will download different projects? or there's a chance that in both work's and home's computer the SAME project will be downloaded, so I will be working on the same project and so it wil only "count" 1 project for my statistics? I hope you will be able to understand my english, and thanks in advance for the responses ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 17, 2007 8:28:50 PM] |

BOINC works fine with multiple computers. Just attach your additionaly computers using the existing account.

Hello pasionporelrojo,
Each computer gets a unique computer id number during installation. AS long as you use the same email address, membeer name and password, all your points will end up under your member name and BOINC will never get confused. Lawrence |
