Re: dddt errors

Hmmmm - maybe it wasn't the validator after all - this will take some digging. I re-ran one of the workunits through the validator and it still generated an error.

Those were all the ones that I have had error out. The very bottom one was crunched on Dec 8th. I don't know if that helps with anything but I figured the more information the better.

Re: dddt errors

It looks like the validator for Dengue Fever decided to mark a bunch of results in error. We are looking into why that happened now so that we can prevent it in the future. However, we will be able to re-validate those workunits so everyone should be able to get their credit and have the worked used correctly. I'm working on that now.

It looks quite random with my results for dddt, most are valid, but two are called error.

In the results I sent this is one of the texts from a valid
(dddt0201n0832_ ZINC08119575-0000_ 00_ 0-- Valid 12/10/2007 15:56:13 12/12/2007 12:55:40 0.62 14.3 / 14.9):

I fail to see the difference.
Both were created just 2 minutes apart, both were send to me at the same time, both were reported at the same time, both showed no error messages in my BOINC manager. Good luck with your search for the bug ;)

Re: dddt errors

See this FAQ regarding some 'innocent' messages in the result log:

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=15646

Looks like all (?) the validation has been suspended as now having a number for HCC & DDDT with complete quorum sitting in Pending Validation.

Re: dddt errors

Yes - while I investigate this I'm suspending some activities - technically just the transitioner but that has the effect of suspending most everything else.

Re: dddt errors

Ok - it is odd but there was a bug in the DDDT validator that didn't manifest itself until now. That has been corrected and we are re-processing the results that were incorrectly marked as an error due to this.

Kevin, the DDDT's I had with both results returned are fixed now. What about those WUs where the second result needed for the quorum hasn't been returned yet? Those still show as errors instead of pending validation.

Re: dddt errors

Can you give me an example? Those would be something else since the problem that was fixed above was related specifically to the validator marking things in errors.
