I can't get dddt to work on Ubuntu 7.10. After a short period of time, I always get errors like this:
2007-08-28 22:18:32 [World Community Grid] Task dddt0101a0020_ZINC00111506-0000_01_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 2007-08-28 22:18:32 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. This occurs whether I use the version of boinc in my distribution (even after I upgrade it using backports) or the version of boinc (5.8.16) downloaded from the BOINC website. I have turned off dddt on this machine for the moment. The Mac version (running on my laptop) works fine. |

Task dddt0101a0020_ZINC00111506-0000_01_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. This is a relatively meaningless DEBUG comment that has been left in the AutoDock program. Just ignore it.Lawrence |

probably a useless post but JIC
use the synaptic packages manager if "add programs" doesnt work well. Visually It seems a little more confusing, but it generally works very well when you know what packages you are looking for. |
