This is driving me nuts.
----------------------------------------On one machine there is absolutley no problem. On the other machine (running udmon) after a wu finishes instead of just being one icon the icon from the last wu is still in the taskbar..hm I often find up to 10 icons in the taskbar... Is this to do with udmon? Or perhaps a winXP setting? Greetings Belmarduk

Yes, it's UDMon. No, it's not supported.
Migrate to BOINC instead. |

Even without UDMonitor I see an extra icon now and then, even from BOINC. Rolling over it usually makes it go away.
----------------------------------------Even though UDMonitor is "unsupported" it usually works fairly well. Don't worry about it. UD itself will be phased out in the next few months anyway.

Yep couldnt find the thread anymore Once you are in the WCG forum; clicking on "Search" in the forum menu bar and entering Belmarduk in the "By Member Name" field gives that Search results Isn't it great? Belmarduk it has been like that since way way back before even the World Community Grid started and we had something called UD.com
----------------------------------------It's one of those bug'ettes that will probably never get fixed. It's doesn't cause any issues with the crunching or your PC just as you say a bunch of extra icons in your system tray Give BOINC a whirl if you are using UDmon you will like it Dave  |
