Replying to Sekerob
----------------------------------------as potentially expected, the error message is: Maximum disk usage exceeded I can confirm that all the systems have sufficient available space on disk and in the RAM. Without any reboot, the systems are still crunching successfully for HPF2. By the way, I am a little bit surprised because some of the errored WUs (DDDT) disappear from the error list without appearing somewhere else (unfortunately, I did not make any screenshot when I noticed the problem). I read the other post regarding the "disk usage problem", but I am not sure having properly understood the conclusion (if any). Have a great crunching week,Maximum disk usage exceeded |

Hi KerSamson,
----------------------------------------As eluded in the referenced thread, work units have an internal restriction to prevent them eating up your whole disk when the process goes rampant. Once the data dump reaches this boundary, the WU error's out with that message. There is no conclusion as to what causes the data dump to set in. Send in another 20 DDDT's yesterday and all validated. I have only Intel's processors, at least, that's what the stickers say on the housings. You mean to say they disappear from the Result Status page? Here's a filter link to show only the once you currently have (I cant see yours, just mine, which is none): cheers.

Hi,
----------------------------------------I re-selected DDDT yesterday for some of my systems and became again errors. Looking on the thread about "Max disk usage exceeded", I can notice that no real pattern is currently identifiable regarding the systems (incl. CPUs, OS, ...) having problems with DDDT WUs. By some WUs, the once entry in the error log is: <core_client_version>5.10.13</core_client_version> Sorry, but I deselected again DDDT ! Have a nice day, |

I Migrated from the UD agent lastnight to BOINC on all my systems including my Dual core Pent D 960 which is now being put to full use now.. I noticed no issues with any work units then again I got 4 GB RAM on this Rig XP 32 Bit sees 3.5 GB of it... on my other systems doing research I have not seen any issues yet with the new projects.. and they are lower in HW specs

1 batch came back with an error but when I checked, so did everyone in the quorom. It must have been a WU with a fluke. Hopefully it was resolved and we all can start crunching and produce results.

Thank you Dave for the info !
----------------------------------------I am just coming back from a business trip and I re-selected DDDT for two systems at first. If I experience further problems, I will give you feedback ! Regards, |
