Hi,
I've noticed that the WCG web site shows about 110,000 points for the team I belong to (Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science). However, all the external BOINC statistics sites show around 8,000. For my individual contribution WCG shows around 17,000 to that team but the other sites only show 5,000. Does the WCG count points differently to the outside sites? Or is it just issues with the way the external sites collect the stats? I did check the faq and I apologize if I missed the answer, Cheers, Paul |

You have two items to consider. First, you need to multiply BOINC points by about 7 to get WCG points. Second, any points compiled by the UD agent are not counted in the BOINC stats, but are included in the WCG totals for the team. So if you have some membersof the team using the UD agent, their total will be reflected in the WCG point totals, but not on the BOINC stats totals.
----------------------------------------Hope this helps. Cheers
