HPF2 will sometimes run amok using 100% but not making progress. Suspend WCG in the projects tab of the BOINC mgr interface or however it's done on Free BSD. The Project, not the Task/Assignment. Wait 30 seconds and reactivate WCG. For most all it resumes at the last checkpoint.

idea If not already done, a FAQ item will be made for this VFAQ.

For me, it's suspended in "runnind-and-ilde" state under FreeBSD for both dddt and faah projects (FreeBSD 6 and 7 on i386 tested so far; amd64 will be tested shortly) - which is certainly not good for automated operations.
