confused Is beta testing potentially harmful to my computer?

I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with bugs in beta programs causing their computer to crash? I would like to help, but i have some critical applications that I have to run 24/7.

Should i be a beta tester?

Re: Is beta testing potentially harmful to my computer?

Hello dsangree,
Past performance is unimportant. The very next program to be tested in Beta might have a bug that causes the OS to crash. Only run Beta Testing on systems (like a home computer) that are not critical.
