First:
It's has been said that Genome Comparison is over. However when reading http://www.dbbm.fiocruz.br/labwim/bioinfoteam...eComparison/progress.html we are only at 86% (updated 17 July and nothing since...) Second: Whe have NO information for when,where and how make the requests on the database Since the beginning GC, is a great project, hope the end will be also ! |

We saw this last week. The Admin confirmed he'd notified Fiocruz to update their progress page to set it to 100%. Added: The GC project may at times resume to process more. The world genome databases from which GC was drawing their data is growing rapidly. Search for posts by lawrencehardin who elaborated a bit more on the matter As for the access to the GC database, you really have to talk to the Fiocruz scientist directly. As i understand it, they put it on line after the validation and clean up which will be some time I'm sure as with anything in science.
