Spring is finally starting to win! ![]() Spring has sprung and so has my roof..... Went up tonite and found 18 inch ice damm at the edge and 5 feet of the white stuff in 8 layers. Bloody freezing rain this winter is causing grief now...... ![]() Rudi the Red P.S. But shares in propane companies... this looks like a 8 large bottle job. |

800 pounds of propane? Sheesh.
Going to be doing some roofing this summer Rudi? I did mine last summer and I put down that rubbery weather shield stuff under the shingles. Two rows along the bottom, a row on either side of the peak and a row along the edges. This stuff is supposed to help if you get ice dams. It prevents the backed up water from reaching the plywood if it gets under the shingles. Anyways, good luck with the roof. Ripcat |
